Everyone's got a neighbor who has a decent ride on their driveway. What is it on your street?

For me, it's a tie between an E63 similar to one pictured (not too sure about it), a matte black Raptor, and two Triumphs ridden around the block.

But I'm sure we don't live in the same block. What's the coolest vehicle on your street? (yes, it can be yours too)

For now, it is a built 80's something Malibu (I think) coupe. The thing sounds mean and is super clean.

Next year, it will be me with something neat for a daily driver, than another 6 or 7 years after that me again when I have an Evo IV.

[Edit: Kinja doesn't like my image links.. take 2]

Got quite a few nice things my my neighborhood, but not a ton on my particular street. Neighbor two houses down has one of these buried in his garage:

Kinja'd!!!

Same color and everything, I've never seen it leave that garage, but it appears to be great condition. Beyond that my SL and 55' Royal are the most interesting (using that term loosely) things on the block.

If we branch out past my street into my neighborhood (subdivision) we get a lot of cool toys, from various old Mustang's and a few Ferrari's/Maserati's (Maser's are becoming quite common around here, I guess people are trying to be different and picking them up over the more traditional 740's and S550's)

And there's this gem, which lives a couple streets over and rarely sees the sun:

I've never been sure if the '57 Bel Air rod is just a repeat visitor to our road, or lives somewhere down one of the drives. There *is* a guy with an amateur dragster of some sort...

Aside from that, it's kind of mullet city: Sooo many 80s F-bodies. My family probably has the monopoly on oddball stuff on our road by a mile (antique Land Rovers, '67 4wd International, Benzes, etc. etc.), but we're way off down a drive.

Fun game! So, there are 45 houses on my street, all small late 50s ranches, more or less. Most started out with a one-car 50s-sized garage (read: tiny), some with front car-port type setups. And I'm happy to say we have some very cool vehicles. There are the twin air-cooled VW/interesting pickup houses:

Kinja'd!!!

And we have two really nice earlier VW Westy's that I know go camping regularly:

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

And a really nice Corvair pickup.

Kinja'd!!!

There's another guy with a restored early BMW motorcycle. I think he sold his TR6, though. And we just got some new neighbors with a nice diesel F250 4x4 with a slide-in camper and M101A3 3/4 ton cargo trailer (matching canvas top). His other driveway items include a BMW 1200 GS plus sidecar, and a Prius (? I dunno either). One of the renters across the street has a new BMW GS, maybe an 850? I don't know their lineup well. He might still have his Kawasaki ZX, too. Anyway, he helps make up for the douche-tastic parking of his roommates and their friends.

I like to think I add to the fun with my converted-to-RET 89 Toyota pickup and my resto/modified '78 280Z.

Coolest/most interesting cars I see regularly:
- 911 Carrera 4 (993 I think, not much of a Porsche expert), owner also has a Cayenne
- my favorite, red Jaguar XJS V12 convertible (running, surprisingly)
- BRG Triumph TR7 (probably not running)
- Yellow Ferrari Mondial (though it disappeared recently, wonder if it was sold)

Other sightings in region:
- Porsche 930 Turbo targa in Grand Prix White.
- Bentley, unidentified (photo was too blurry) but modern and fairly understated in black.
- Aston Martin DB9 (anthracite or silver)
- Audi R8 (in white)
- Lotus Elise (series two I think) in deep orange/papaya
- Jaguar F-Type coupe in white
- Alfa Romeo 164? in black
- Tesla Model S (a good handful, but not common yet)

I'd give it a tie in my Cul-de-Sac.

1) a 914-6 in exactly this hue of orange:

2) And I'm tempted to give this one the nod - a 1970 Nova that the original owner has kept stock. Ant it is BEAUTIFUL without being gawdy. No lift kit, no bling, no extra badges, no primer, no filler, no meat by-products.

Track prepped GT3.. I rarely see the car but the owner definitely knows how to drive it. Caught him turning into the complex heel toe downshifting a couple gears once. Other than that, there's a modified 335i coupe with linea corse wheels, brakes, probably suspension, probably a tune and probably downpipes.

It's just Boulder, CO, so nothing particularly unusual, but it sure seems like Jalop town from my street, doesn't it? There's a weirdly strong gearhead culture here. In my neighborhood there's multiple-Unimog-man, deuce-and-a-half/5T guy, Porsche Guy, Early BMWs guy, several Houses of Subaru, the Evo Abode, more VW enthusiasts, Motocross Man, couple of Vette households, and a track instructor with a Sky Redline, a Vette, an Alfa, and a Belvedere. I've seen them all out turning their own wrenches. Friendly, too.

It runs really well, too. I keep a close eye on it, to see if a "For Sale" ever appears, but no luck so far. Same with the 50s Chevy pickup around the corner. Not to be too morbid, but that dude is so old there'll be an estate sale before long. I missed the turbo Subaru SVX sale. It was at or next to Corvair guy's place, but only for like a week, and I had my hands full with a newborn at the time. I keep thinking maybe an FJ55 or a COE for my next project, as there are a lot here. I think I should wait and see if my son wants to do a project. So far, he seems interested, but he's not even 2, so *everything* is interesting to him.

It's silly with Subarus around here, definitely anomalous compared to the rest of the US. I see a few SVX's per year (undoubtedly a lot of repeat sightings, I'm sure). I'd love an FJ55, in any of a variety of configurations, as well as a COE set up for a track hauler, and an Aston, and... but as you can see, the garage/parking space is fairly limited with these houses. Then I think about picking up a rental property nearby, and keeping the garage for my use, and suddenly it's all completely out of control and I'm having to unclog some tenant's backed up toilet at 11 pm on a holiday. I really gotta come up with a better solution.

I never see him drive it, but he will on a sunny day bring it out of the garage and wash the car and run it, That is a car that Dodge needs to bring back as a modern version. I do like some classic cars stuck in garages. There's a 911 close to me hiding out that I've only ever seen on the street once.

its just an S4, Avants were only made in 2001, they didnt give us the Rs4, which has the bigger turbos out of the factory, and more aggressive fenders etc..

It is a Ford Capri, with some modifications going on.
I must confess that I don't know exactly what the owner has done to it, but removing the back seats and A LOT of the interior is some of it, as are the installation of the bucket seats for the driver and passenger.
Lights aren't stock, neither are the tires I believe.
Lastly, there has been some subtle engine massaging of some variety, because it sounds fooking AWESOME.

Let see, in no particular order, in the exurban neighborhood I live in, I know people own:

Ford C-MAX

Acura TL

Toyota Highlander

Toyota Camry

Jeep Liberty (with no engine)

Ford F-150

Mercury Grand Marquis

Ford LTD

Mini Cooper S

BMW Z4

Ford F-150

Dodge Ram 1500

Dodge Ram 2500

Hyundai Sonata

Toyota Tundra

Nissan Altima

Honda CR-V

Nissan 350Z

Hummer H2

Toyota Tundra

GMC Sierra 1500

Pontiac G6 Convertible

And if you want motorcycles:

Triumph Sprint ST 955

Can-Am doohickey

No fewer than three Harley FLHTABCDEFG

Those are the ones I can actually remember off the top of my head.

So by manufacturer:

Ford: 5

Honda: 2

GM: 3

Fiat Chrysler: 3

Toyota: 4

Nissan: 2

Hyundai: 1

BMW: 2 (Both are which are mine)

I'm the only one in the neighborhood with European cars. Therefore, I win.
